Stable and waterproof
This external enclosure for a 2.5" SATA hard disk or SSD (maximum height 9.5 mm) protects data from dust and heavy splash water (protection class IP66). This case is the perfect solution for users who are often outdoors, but do not want to do without their storage space! The USB 3.1 Type-C™ connection ensures fast data exchange between terminal device and drive. Data packets are transmitted at up to 10 Gbit/s. The new chipset supports SATA III speeds, so that no data transfer rate is lost even with this bottleneck and an SSD can be fully utilized. Speaking of getting lost: Thanks to the integrated USB cable, nothing gets lost in this case so quickly.


IP66 (splash and dust protected)
The IB-287-C31 has many talents, most of which cannot be detected at first glance. This includes protection class IP66, which prevents the ingress of dust or splash water. The IB-287-C31 achieves this protection through extra protective lips and extra secured holes for the screws.

USB 3.1 (Gen 2) with Type-C™
With the technology of USB 3.1, even higher data transfer rates can now be achieved. USB 3.1 is also backwards compatible, corresponding cables are required. The data rate of up to 10 Gbit/s is supported by the supplied USB 3.1 Type-C™ cable and only requires a suitable end piece in the form of a PC, tablet or similar.
