Compact and space-saving. The case offers space for two 2.5" hard disks up to 9.5 mm high. The brand new and particularly fast USB 3.1 port, which can achieve transfer rates of up to 10 Gbit/s, ensures data transfer performance. And if no USB 3.1 is available, the IB-RD2253-U31 can also be connected to a USB 3.0/2.0/1.1 Type-A port via the supplied cable.
Small and functional
The IB-RD2253-U31 is a RAID system for two 2.5" SATA III hard disks or SSDs. RAID modes 0, 1, SINGLE and LARGE are supported and can be easily set using the switch on the rear panel.
USB 3.1
The USB interface has established itself as the standard for PC hardware and the new USB 3.1 standard brings some improvements, such as a transfer rate of up to 10 Gbps. However, the type A and type B interfaces already known from USB 3.0 will continue to exist. They will also be able to reach speeds of up to 10 Gbit/s. Due to special demand, the RAID system is now delivered with a USB Type-C™ and a USB Type-A cable.
