The 2USB chargeUP 12W is a stand-alone USB charging station 250VAC / 16A and is perfectly suited for charging USB devices which are mounted flat on the respective surface (e.g. a wall). It has a USB charging port with a total capacity of 2.4A / 12W. The chargeUP 12W is equipped with the 2USB chargeMAX technology, which is essential for intelligent and efficient charging because it dynamically detects and adapts the charging protocol of your device. Whether you have an Apple® or Android® device, with 2USB chargeMAX you can charge quickly and save time. If you are not using the chargeUP 12W, it requires a sensationally low standby power of <50mW. The energy efficiency of 85% is also impressive! With an extremely low installation depth of just 32 mm, the 2USB chargeUP 12W is unique and fits into all common European flush-mounted boxes. It can therefore be used very well for new buildings and also in the course of renovations and modernisations. Installation is child's play for a professional and can therefore be completed very quickly. Connection wires of 0.75mm or 2.5mm cross-section (single and stranded wire possible) can be connected. A very important detail should be mentioned here: Both contacts (both L and N) have been polished!!! The chargeUP 12W can be mounted directly to the wall using screw fasteners and/or the supplied claws on the flush-mounted box or, if this is not possible, using 4 holes in the removable mounting plate. If you remove the mounting plate (simply by using a small flat screwdriver) you can put the chargeUP 12W "only" into the flush-mounted box. No problem.
