The new ALLNET ALL-SG8245PM switch is a solid basis for a networked workstation. With a total of 5 backward compatible Gigabit ports, computers, printers, access points, etc. can be networked reliably. The ALL-SG8245PM can also power PoE-enabled devices via its 4 PoE ports (IEEE802.3af), so they do not need an additional power cable. The ALL-8245PM has been designed without a fan to ensure noiseless operation, which is very important for a workstation. It is "smart managed" for optimum user comfort. This means that it can be configured for VLAN and QoS, among other things.
