The Ben Nevis Advanced is a more powerful version of the normal Ben Nevis cooler in all areas - here in a new black edition completely in black and with RGB lighting. The heat exchanger was extended with more fins as well as provided with an additional heat pipe, which significantly improves the cooling performance. The volume emissions could also be reduced by the larger and powerful fan.
The now four 6-millimeter thick copper heat pipes are pressed directly onto the CPU, absorb the heat directly from the processor and then pass it on to the countless aluminum lamellae without detours. This process provides for a very good cooling with conventional heat conductive paste. Due to the asymmetrical design all RAM banks can be fully loaded.
The already installed 130 mm fan, with PWM functionality, provides for a fast and efficient removal of waste heat with a strong air flow of 95.4 m³/h. Despite its very good cooling power of 150 watt TDP, the fan is surprisingly quiet due to its conical design and performs its service at max. 25.8 dB(A), when it rotates at maximum 1,500 rpm.
In addition to its excellent price-performance ratio, the Ben Nevis Advanced can also shine with the now extended compatibility. With the mounting system it offers a simple and secure installation on the sockets 2011(-v3), 2066, 1150, 1151, 1155, 1156, AM4, AM3(+), AM2(+) as well as FM1 and FM2(+).
Since this CPU cooler is attached directly to the retention module of the motherboard without a rear-plate screw connection, it is fully compatible with the AMD socket AM4, which was created in 2017 with the AMD Ryzen desktop processors, despite changed hole spacing.
The Shock KILLER POLE reliably captures shocks during the transport of a system or when a system is shipped to the CPU cooler. In addition, the Shock KILLER POLE offers more stability against bending the aluminum lamellae.Delivery content
