Description

The Scotch ® Electrical insulating tape 88 is a specially thick Premium-Tape Electrical insulating tape with carrier made of PVC film. It is characterized by its high abrasion-resistance and mechanical capacity. The tape is coated with natural rubber adhesive, even at temperatures below excellent adhesive strength and elasticity. The 0.22 millimeter thick adhesive tape is self-extinguishing and long-term temperature resistant up to 105°C. It keeps a breakdown voltage of 10,000 volts and is resistant to moisture, UV radiation, oil, acids, alkalis and Copper corrosion. This makes the PVC tape ideal for all the electrical insulation up to a kilo volt, the high demands on the chemical, physical and mechanical capacity.
