Description

HiFiBerry DAC+ Zero is a high quality D/A converter for Raspberry Pi Zero, but it also works with all newer models with 40-pin GPIO connector. It was developed for price-conscious users, as a cost-effective alternative for the HiFiBerry DAC+ for all those cases, in which the many features of the HiFiBerry DAC+ are not needed.

Technical characteristics:
• This is a dedicated 192kHz/24bit high-quality DAC with improved sound quality (based on a Burr-Brown D/A converter)
• can be connected directly to the Raspberry Zero; no additional cables are required
• is delivered as a prefabricated kit. Simply connect to the Raspberry Pi! On Raspberry Pi Zero, the GPIO pin strip must be soldered on.
• compatible with Raspberry Pi models Zero, A+,B+, 2B and 3B
• Power comes directly from the Raspberry Pi; no power supply required
• low-interference voltage regulator for optimal audio performance
• without mounting material (i.e. spacer, 40-pin strip for Raspberry Pi Zero)
• Without hardware-based volume control – but most programs include volume control
