Description

The Platinum series of Hobbywing includes professional controllers for airplanes and helicopters with the best and most reliable performance that you expect as a professional pilot. In addition, they have many extended functions such as the governor mode for helicopters. The firmware can be updated by the user in order to be always up-to-date. Excellent motor speed control "Governing"
A 32-bit high performance process site with a frequency of 72MHz coupled with an advanced algorithm allows excellent engine speed control under a wide range of conditions. Together with the possibility to set the various parameters of the throttle response (governor parameter) one can be sure to get a sensitive and precise control over the speed, which corresponds to the needs of each pilot.

Driving efficiency optimization technology / high reliability & efficiency
The "Driving Efficiency Technology (DEO)" reduces the operating temperature of the controller, increases the flight time and brings a constant stable performance. Thanks to an active brake, the motor can reduce its speed extremely quickly when the throttle is released, i.e. a much faster reaction to movements of the throttle lever is obtained. This enables the pilot to fly even easier maneuvers like extremely sharp curves, sudden changes in altitude or sudden braking.
With the DEO technology, the controller temperature is reduced by up to 10% and the efficiency can be increased by up to 10%.

High power HV BEC
The integrated switching BEC has an adjustable voltage range from 5V to 8V and can be constantly loaded with 10A and for a short time even up to 25A. So there is enough power available to get a fast and precise control for your HV servos.

Super soft start
The Paltinum v4 series enables the motors a super soft start and prevents "tail-drift". The start time can be set between 8 and 25 seconds, so that for each flight an ideal starting situation for each start results.

Four brake modes
The Platinum series has the following brake modes - Brake Deactivate / Normal Brake / Proportional Brake and Brake Reverse. The braking force can be set with the normal brake, in the proportional braking mode the braking force is automatically adjusted in dependence on the joystick movement and when the brake is reversed, the rotor rotation direction can be reversed with another channel.

Multiple protection mechanisms
It has numerous protection functions, such as against regulator overheating, capacitor overheating, regulator overvoltage protection, signal loss as well as an undervoltage protection. Thanks to all these protection mechanisms, you will have long fun with the controller.
