Description

The car battery charger is a 5-step car battery charger suitable for charging and trickle charging 6V or 12V. Select the desired charging voltage and the microprocessor-controlled charger does everything fully automatically until the end of the charging cycle and for trickle charging of full batteries. The German-language display is easy to understand and comfortable to use. The memory function continues the charging process even after power interruptions without having to start from the beginning. Four charging programs are available. The fully automatic battery charging takes place in 5 charging steps. The microprocessor in the charger has a memory function. If the 230V supply is interrupted during the charging process, the device saves the previously selected charging program. After a new mains power supply, the device starts automatically and continues charging in the last selected program.

PROGRAM 1: 6 V (7.2V/1A)
Suitable for 6 V batteries with a capacity between 1.2 and 30 Ah in normal condition. Charging program for WET, MF, EFB batteries and most GEL batteries.
PROGRAM 2: 6 V (7.4V/1A)
Suitable for 6 V batteries with a capacity between 1.2 and 30 Ah in cold conditions. This charging program is also designed for many AGM and some EFB batteries.
PROGRAM 3: 12 V (14.4V/1A)
Suitable for 12 V batteries with a capacity between 1.2 and 30 Ah in normal condition. Charging program for WET, MF, EFB batteries and most GEL batteries.
PROGRAM 4: 12 V (14.7V/1A)
Suitable for 12 V batteries with a capacity between 1.2 and 30Ah in cold condition. This charging program is also designed for many AGM and some EFB batteries.

Charging steps:
Step 1: Initialization
Checks the condition of the battery to determine the charging process. When the battery is deep discharged, pulse charging is initiated to refresh the battery.
Step 2: Pulse charging
Achieve recovery process of deep discharged or sulphated batteries by low pulsating current. This charge outlet will automatically expire if the voltage is below 5.3V. When the battery cells are broken down, it regenerates/refreshes already damaged batteries in such a way that they can be used again.
Step 3: Constant current charging
Charges up to 85% of the battery. The battery is charged with maximum charging current.
Step 4: Constant voltage charging
Increases the charge state to 95% at maximum charge voltage by gradually reducing the current, which reduces the gas development of the battery and extends the battery life.
Step 5: Trickle charging
Stops the charging process for 12V mode and keeps the battery at its maximum capacity with a constant charging voltage without the risk of overcharging. Monitors battery status in 6V mode. When the battery voltage drops below the threshold, the charger restarts the charging process, ensuring that the battery is fully charged effectively and without risk of overcharging.
