Description

The ABUS Z-Wave door/window contact detects the opening of windows and doors and informs your Smart Home Gateway about the status of the door or window to be monitored. Of course, the use is not limited to doors or windows: For example, it can also equip and monitor drawers or medical cabinets with a magnetic contact. The discreet design deliberately reduces itself and does not look like a foreign body in your smart home.

With the ABUS Z-Wave door/window contact you can also optimize the energy consumption of your home: If you work in your system with radiator thermostats, for example, you can link the heating activity to the state (open or closed) of your windows. This way, you no longer heat "out of the window".
