Description

The Homematic IP thermostatic radiator valve - BASIC is a part of the Homematic IP smart home system and helps save energy. The smart regulator replaces conventional thermostatic radiator valves, saving energy by up to 30%. The thermostat can be mounted on the radiator without tools or changing the heating system. The power is supplied by two AA batteries which can supply energy for approx. 2 years. The radiator thermostat is ready for use thanks to the preset heating profile - this can be adjusted manually at any time. Individual temperature processes with up to 13 changes are possible per day. Thus Homematic IP only heats certain rooms if there is a real need. The setup can be done flexibly on the device itself, via Homematic IP APP (in connection with the Homematic IP access Point) or via a browser-based interface (in connection with a central CCU3). Alternatively, the smart thermostat can also be operated without the central unit.The APP allows the TRV to be integrated into an extensive smart home system. The cloud solution allows you to set the temperature any time and from anywhere. If you prefer to know the data locally in the home network but still want to benefit from the advantages of a smart home system, you can use the setup via the CCU3 control unit (no longer compatible with the CCU2 control unit).
