Description
A base load is used if loads cannot be recognized due to their capacity, but should cause the mains voltage to be switched on. Basic loads must always be operated in parallel with the associated consumer and switched off with the same. Higher standby loads can affect or prevent the detection of a base load. Examples include fluorescent lamps, dimmer circuits and electronic transformers. Base load element GLE PTC in a small sleeve with connection cables, can be used directly in a consumer, a switch or a junction box. It is not able to keep the field isolator switched on without additional consumers.
