Description
Machine taps from cobalt-alloyed high-performance high-speed work steel. A longer service life is achieved through the higher heat hardness resistance. For through thread and blind hole thread, in unalloyed and alloyed steels up to 1000 N/mm² strength and non-ferrous metals. The thread is cut in one operation. Like HSS-quick work steel, with cobalt alloy 5%. This heat-resistant material is used for processing materials with higher strength and for long cutting channels with correspondingly high heating. The cobalt content of 5% provides for a higher heat resistance as well as a higher load capacity.
