Sensor with two V4A metal contacts molded in plastic housing. As soon as water or another conductive liquid touches the two contacts, the resistance between the two wires decreases from a few mega-ohms to a few 100 ohms. This allows digital inputs of controllers with internal pull-up resistor to be triggered. The sensor cables can be easily extended, cross-section: 2 x 0.14 square millimeter.
The SHT 8815 water sensor is not suitable for connection to Schabus water detectors.
