The ThinkPad USB 3.0 Ethernet Adapter allows Ethernet to be used on systems that do not have an Ethernet (RJ-45) port via the USB port on the system. The ThinkPad USB 3.0 Ethernet Adapter not only provides a high-speed Gigabit Ethernet solution over the USB 3.0 port, but can also boot over LAN on select ThinkPad systems.
