Description
DALI LED dimmer for independant control of brightness and color temperature. For ceiling insert. Standby loss of only 0.12 watts. Suitable for controlling constant voltage LED modules (CV) with operating voltages from 12V to 48V. Operating mode DT8: Control of brightness and color temperature via a DALI address (Device Type 8, Color Type TC).
Balance&Dim operating mode: Control via 2 DALI addresses, one for adjusting the brightness and one for adjusting the channel distribution (e.g. color temperature).
Operating mode Dim2Warm: A DALI address for dimming while simultaneously changing the color temperature.
SwitchDim2: Operation via 2 button inputs allows control of brightness and color temperature without DALI. Dimming range 0.1%-100%. Switchable PWM frequency (122Hz/244Hz/488Hz/976Hz). Supply voltage depending on type from 12V to 28V DC or 12V to 48V DC (according to the Betriebsspannung of the LED modules). Connection current 16A. The maximum connected current can be distributed to the channels as required. High efficiency. Configuration via PC software DALI cockpit and DALI USB interface. Operating modes: The device has several operating modes: DT8 (factory setting): In this operating mode, a DALI address (Device Type 8, Color Type TC) is used to control brightness and color temperature. Alternatively, the device can be operated via two push-button inputs (SwitchDim2): SwD1: Brightness. Short press: On/off. Long press: Dim. SwD2: Color temperature. Balance&Dim: The control takes place via 2 DALI addresses (or SwitchDim2), whereby one address is used for dimming and the other for channel distribution (i.e. e.g.: Tunable white or direct/indirect lighting distribution). The Balance&Dim mode allows the adjustment of the color temperature without affecting the brightness and vice versa. Adjustment is carried out with DALI standard commands such as Dim Up/Down and can therefore be carried out with all common controllers and gateways (e.g. KNX). This control option offers an alternative to the DT8-TC mode. Can be operated via DALI or SwitchDim2: DALI address 1, SwD1: Brightness. DALI Address 2, SwD2: Balance. Dim2Warm: The two output channels are controlled via a DALI address or a SWD input. The channel distribution is permanently coupled to the dimming value.
