Dual motion detector BMD01: For a particularly reliable motion detection
With the dual BMD01 motion detector, triggering by drafts, heating or light changes is a thing of the past. For this purpose, the dual motion detector is equipped with two independant sensors. This means that the detector is triggered particularly reliably only when it is moving.

With special 2-sensor technology
The dual motion detector has two sensors: A passive infrared (PIR) and a microwave sensor. In this two-stage motion detection, the microwave sensor must confirm a motion detected by the PIR motion sensor – only when both sensors detect the movement will the detector trigger. The BMD01 detects movements within a maximum range of 15 m x 81°. A AND/OR function and anti-masking function can be set via DIP switch. The microwave function can also be deactivated via an additional 12 V activation.

Certified and universally applicable
The dual motion detector is certified according to EN50131 degree 2 and thus corresponds to a high safety level. The detector can be universally connected to a wired alarm system. It enables flexible mounting on the wall or in the corner at a height of 2.10 m in the interior. The detector housing is equipped with a tamper switch that signals the opening and demolition of the housing.
