Description

The VideoMic NTG is a transmitter-capable, feature-rich directional tube microphone, which is optimized for use in front of the camera. It has the same revolutionary acoustic design as the NTG5 broadcast directional microphone, which offers unsurpassed transparency and natural, true-to-life sound. Add to this an unbelievably flat frequency response, a highly directional supercardioid directional characteristic and a very low inherent noise, so that you get a compact camera microphone that can keep up with the best directional tube microphones in the world.

The VideoMic NTG not only sounds great, but is also extremely flexible and offers a range of tools and functions that help you master every recording situation. The digital switching enables you to access a high-pass filter, a -20dB-pad, a high-frequency increase and a safety channel. In addition, there is a unique stepless gain control, with which you can tailor the output exactly to your needs. Its 3.5 mm output with automatic detection detects which device you are connected to (camera or mobile phone) and switches over - no more fuming with adapter cables! There is also a handy new dB peak warning light so you can always be sure that your sound is not distorted.

The VideoMic NTG is so much more than just a camera microphone. It can not only be perfectly combined with DSLRs, compact cameras and smartphones - either at the camera, as a boom microphone or at the pistol grip - but is also a full-fledged USB microphone, which can be connected to a computer, a tablet or a smartphone.
