Description

The HomeMatic IP radiator thermostat - compact helps actively save energy within the HomeMatic IP Smart Home system. The tamper-proof regulator replaces existing radiator thermostats and enables energy savings of up to 30% through demand-oriented heating.

The radiator thermostat is simply mounted on valves with M30 thread via the metal nut. There is no need to interfere with the heating system or drain water. The compact thermostat is operated exclusively via the free app or an additional wall thermostat, so that it is particularly suitable for offices, small businesses, children's rooms or even for closer niches. The provided removal lock as well as the closed housing prevent unauthorized manipulation and theft. Two AA batteries supply the thermostat with energy for up to 5 years.

After installation, the app can be used to define up to three heating profiles with a maximum of six heating phases per day at room level - so the office is pre-heated on arrival in the morning, while valuable energy is saved after work. Naturally, the room temperature can also be adjusted manually via the app, a HomeMatic IP wall thermostat or comfortably via voice command (Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant).

The system is really smart in combination with a HomeMatic IP window and door contact. If this registers an open window, the radiator thermostat closes the hot water supply of the radiator. When the window is closed again, the radiator resumes its work. This helps to save energy, increases living comfort and protects the environment. The built-in automatic limescale and frost protection prevents the valve from calcification and freezing.
