Description
This is a brass-coated wear-resistant nozzle for the Ultimaker 3 Print Core AA.
The nozzle consists of a 360-brass base material and is coated with a TwinClad XT coating. TwinClad XT is a nickel composite coating for very low friction. It offers one of the lowest friction coefficients, better than nickel with PTFE co-deposition.
The TwinClad XT coating is also very hard and abrasion resistant. Working with abrasive carbon fibers, stainless steel, wood-filled filaments or other metal-filled filaments will significantly improve the life of your nozzle.
