Description

The Ford Escort is a classic in the Tamiya program. This edition is a Street-Custom version of the original 58335 kit from 2004 (then WRC version). The 1998er Ford Escort was originally driven by a 4-cylinder 2-liter engine with 500 hp.
The basis for this model is the TT-02 chassis in the scale 1:10. The 58691 Tamiya model. With this wheel base, ground clearance, track and gear ratio can be set many times and with the innumerable optional tuning parts the chassis can be tuned quickly to the racer. The 4WD drive with central shaft, double transverse links and spring struts on all four wheels provide for a prototypical driving pattern and best traction. The bottom of the chassis is designed extra smooth and the battery compartment accepts all common battery types. A visual highlight are the wheel drivers, which have attached brake disc dummies.
