Description
Door/window contact with radio standard Z-Wave can be integrated into any compatible Z-Wave gateway. The optical door/window contact detects whether windows/doors are open/closed and activates/deactivates the heating control accordingly to save energy. It also serves as a security component because the status of the doors/windows is transmitted to the gateway. This way you can always check whether all windows/doors are closed while traveling. In the event of an unexpected opening (e.g. Burglary) one could get information. In addition, scenes or devices can be started automatically using the door/window contact, for example, when a door or window is opened. For example, monitor your home pharmacy, toolbox, or other cabinets/containers. As soon as they are opened, you will be informed.
