Secure data transfer and access control
Smart card technology can be found in numerous applications today: In the security sector, in financial transactions, in medicine, in loyalty programs in the trade, at toll stations, in time recording and much more. Contact-bound chip cards can be simply inserted in the Manhattan smart card reader and the stored data can thus be reliably exchanged between the card and the host PC. This offers much more security and protection than cards with magnetic strips.
Rapid and simple installation
The installation of the Manhattan smart card reader is straightforward via the USB port and the accompanying driver CD. All common operating systems from Windows to iOS up to Linux are supported. No additional cables or an external power supply are required.
