    Overview

Charge controller as per IEC 61851-1 (charging mode 3)
    • master and slave operation can be configured
    – for setting up charging stations with two charging points: 1 charge controller as data gateway with 4G modem and 1 charge controller as slave without 4G modem
    • Dynamic load management to optimally divide the available power under all charging points and to signal the maximum power to the vehicle
    • Fault DC monitoring module (external RCD type A required), different cable lengths can be selected
    • Integrated emergency unlocking (emergency opener) for motor control (locking/unlocking) And monitoring of the 12 V supply voltage
    • can be integrated into single or three-phase networks up to 80 A
    • OCPP 1.5 and OCPP 1.6 compliant with JSON, SOAP
    • Mobile standards supported: 4G (LTE), 3G (UMTS) and 2G (GSM) with integrated 4G modem
    • 3 USB interfaces:
    – 1 CONFIG interface for local configuration and installation of Software updates

    Description

The next generation of smart charging controller
With the CC613, the next generation of intelligent charge controllers is available. Like its predecessor CC612, the CC613 is the brain of an intelligent charging column: It communicates with the vehicle and the back end, it monitors the internal hardware of the charging system, the user interfaces as well as the connection of charging station to the vehicle.
The new generation Charge Controller CC613 extends the range of functions of Bender charge controllers once again. An Ethernet interface is integrated through a modified housing form, which makes the use of a USB Ethernet adapter no longer necessary. Despite the modified shape of the housing, the dimensions of the CC613 remain the same as for the CC612, so that it can be easily integrated into existing charging columns.
The CC613 also has Powerline Communication (PLC) according to ISO 15118 for the implementation of Plug & Charge as well as DC fault current detection with externally connected converter. Free software updates will also be available for additional functions.
The charge controller has an advanced integrated dynamic load management (DLM), which can also be controlled via a higher-level system. Thus, larger load infrastructures can be managed either locally via the controller or through an existing building management system.
Additional monitoring – increased electrical safety
The CC613 now also offers an integrated emergency opener (emergency opener), so that in the event of a power failure of the charging station, the plug can be removed from the vehicle or the charging station without the need for an additional component to be installed in the charging column. This space saving allows the CC613 to be used in small and compact wallboxes.

In order to increase the safety against an electric shock, the CC613 provides PE monitoring, in which the connectivity of the PE connection is monitored regularly. In addition, the CC613 offers an integrated Weld-Check-detection, which outputs an error message in the event of a "stuck" contactor or load switch.

The charge controller monitors the internal hardware of charging systems such as the counter, the user interface module or the socket. It can operate as an always-on system that is always connected to a cellular network. The master version supports the 4G mobile phone standard. Communication with a back-end system is possible via the OCPP application protocol. All specified messages in OCPP and some vendor-specific extensions based on the DataTransfer message are supported. Integration trials with vendor back-end implementations (for example, has·to·Be, Virta and NewMotion) have been carried out successfully.
