RFID module with integrated status LEDs
The RFID module is a separate board that simplifies the interaction between the user and the charging system and conforms to the ISO14443A/MIFARE. It can be connected to the charge controller via a standard RJ45 cable, which is the main component of the charging system.
The charging process is started by holding a valid RFID card registered in a backend system to the reader on the RFID module. The truck starts charging when the switch in the charging system is closed. In offline mode, the charge controller can either allow the charging process without authorization or authorize the user on an RFID basis and a local "white list" with the authorized RFID cards.
