Description
The new series of the TSR-1 step-down switch regulator are predestined to replace the ineffective 78xx linear regulators. The extremely high degree of efficiency of up to 96% enables the operation at full load up to +60 °C ambient temperature without using a heat sink or forced air cooling. The TSR-1 regulators also fulfil other essential features of linear regulators: high output accuracy (± 2 %), low standby current of 2 mA and do not need any external condensers. The high degree of efficiency and the low standby consumption make these switch regulators an ideal solution for a large number of battery-operated applications.
