IR LEDs send on wavelengths which are not visible to the human eye. This set contains 10 IR LEDs. 5 are in clear housing and 5 are in bluish coloured housing. Ideal for small test lab applications and experiments with invisible infrared light.

Information

Unless LED chips come with a built-in current limiter, they need to be protected by a current-limitung resistor or constant current source. Infrared light wavelengths are invisible to the human eye.
