The module is a 1-channel, intelligent positioning controller for DC 24 V motors up to 5 A with incremental position feedback.
Three 24 V inputs detect the limit switches and a preset signal. An incremental encoder interface evaluates the signals of the position encoder and determines the actual value.
The positioning optimizes the pre-switch-off position depending on the direction if necessary and takes the gear backlash compensation into account.
The bidirectional control of the DC motor is carried out via a short-circuit-proof, temperature-monitored H-bridge.
Switched operation as well as soft start/stop or current reduction via PWM is possible.
The 24V supply voltage supplied on the field side via the power contacts and monitored for undervoltage and overvoltage is looped through to the adjacent terminals.
The module can also be used as a pure incremental encoder or as a switch and power controller (PWM).
