Description

This stick monitors your PC and switches one or two relays on the stick in case of an error (e.g. reset button). The electronics are housed in a USB stick housing and provide monitoring with a watchdog function. The microcontroller used is queried at regular intervals by the PC via the USB-BUS. If the time is exceeded, the watchdog stick automatically switches the two relays according to a user-defined sequence. For example, the relays can be used to activate a PC reset in the event of a timeout, an external SMS modem can send warnings or a connected horn signals an alarm. An included test program and a configuration tool facilitate a quick start! CD-ROM with Windows 7, Windows VistaTM, XP/ 2000 drivers. Examples for C, C++, C#, VB, VB.NET, Delphi, Labview are available.
