SIRIUS soft starters S0 32 A, 15 kW/400 V, 40 °C AC 200-480 V, AC/DC 110-230 V screw terminals SIRIUS 3RW40 soft starters for standard applications for gentle starting and ending of three-phase asynchronous motors.
Continuous starting, reducing current peaks, avoiding mains voltage fluctuations during startup, relieving the load on the power supply network, reducing the mechanical load in the drive, considerable space and wiring savings compared to star-delta starters and frequency converters, maintenance-free switching and simple handling. The integrated bypass allows for a very compact design and reduces heating in the control cabinet. Intelligent monitoring functions protect the soft starter from overheating and the motor from overload. In addition, you can limit the current to an adjustable maximum value during power-up. With the integrated remote reset, you can quickly and easily eliminate faults from a distance. Worldwide approvals (e.g. IEC and UL/CSA) also for hazardous applications (ATEX or IEC Ex).
The 3RW soft starters are available for networks up to 690 V in a large power range with different control supply voltages and continuously with screw and spring-type terminals. With 3RW30/40 there are additional variants with 24 V control supply voltage. Some of the 3RW40 up to size S3 as well as all 3RW44 also offer a thermistor motor protection.
With the optional connection module, the soft starters can be attached to the circuit breakers, even for the versions with spring-type terminals. The optional fan enables an even denser design in the control cabinet.
