    Description

    The configurable Gateway serial to Profibus DP enables communication between a Profibus DP network and a serial RS232 or RS485 interface. The gateway is configurable and supported on the serial page MODBUS RTU, ASCII protocol, binary protocol and generic data. It is easily configurable with associated PC software via the RS232 interface. Internal data processing is done by 16-bit microprocessor. Adjusting of different data transmission rates is possible, whereby the maximum data transmission rate is 12 Mbps on the professional bus side. Installation is simple and reliable on DIN rail.
