Description
Kick-off for a new generation of fuses! With ever larger amplifiers and other consumers, the power consumption in cars has increased by more than 50% in the last few years. Good cabling and as little transition resistance as possible are therefore more important than ever before. Bearing surfaces must be as large as possible. The familiar, large ANL fuse was the stimulus: the fuse lies firmly in contact with a large surface and thereby minimises transitional resistance. Likewise, designing fuse elements "from one piece" avoids the need for the solder points that would otherwise be necessary, for example, in a glass fuse. In addition and as a final finishing touch, all contact surfaces are 24 carat gold-plated so are both optically and technologically perfect. The whole unit has been "shrunk" accordingly to the format of a normal glass fuse. Prices have also been reduced accordingly to the level of a standard glass fuse.
