Description

Fast SATA III hard discs need the corresponding controller card, in order to be able to use the full 6 GBit/s transfer rate. With the PCI Express slot the appropriate data transfer rate is also guaranteed on the bus. The PCI-Express card supports port multiplier. This means that up to 8 SATA hard-discs can be operated by the controller card with the help of a multiplier. Thanks to the special design, it is possible to use this card also in Slimline PCs and HTPC multimedia casings. The necessary shorter slot-plate is included.
