Description

Hammond's 1590WEFL enclosure belongs to the manufacturer's 1590W FL series of light duty IP65 watertight diecast aluminium enclosures with flanged lid. These rugged yet easy to machine enclosures are ideal for electronic instruments. A low side wall draft angle allows easy mounting of PCBs.

The 1590WEFL has the same body as the regular 1590W series but its flanged lid means it can easily be mounted to walls or shelves. As the lid screws are concealed against the wall or shelf, the 1590WEFL also provides a more secure enclosure.

The 1590WEFL's lap joint construction with factory poured silicone rubber gasket around its lid provides protection against dust and water meeting the IP65 standard. This gasket remains flexible in the temperature range -62 to +232ºC.

Vibra finishing on this unpainted version provides a smooth surface with no sharp edges.
