The EU-4306 supports USB 3.0, the latest specification of the USB standard with a maximum data transfer rate of 5 Gbps. Up to 10 times faster than the existing USB 2.0 standard, which is limited to a maximum speed of 480 Mbps. USB 3.0 allows the full capacity of 10/100/1000 Mbps Gigabit Ethernet to be achieved via an existing USB port without the need to install a Gigabit Ethernet card.

Supports jumbo framesSupport jumbo frames can provide massive network performance improvements and increase effective bandwidth. Jumbo frames are Ethernet frames (data packets) with up to 4000 bytes per frame compared to the standard with much smaller 1500 bytes for Ethernet frames. The use of larger frames means that fewer frames are sent through the network, which improves the clock frequency of the Central Unit. For some applications, especially those typical of Gigabit Ethernet with transmissions of such large files, the result is significantly increased network performance.
