Description

Hammond's 1590FFL enclosure belongs to the manufacturer's 1590 FL series of IP54 diecast aluminium enclosures with flanged lids. These rugged yet easy to machine enclosures are ideal for electronic instruments. A low side wall draft angle allows easy mounting of PCBs.

The 1590FFL has the same body as the regular 1590 series but its flanged lid means it can easily be mounted to walls or shelves. As the lid screws are concealed against the wall or shelf, the 1590FFL also provides a more secure enclosure.

The 1590FFL's lap joint construction protects against dust and splashing water ingress and provides good EMI/RFI shielding.

Vibra finishing on this unpainted version provides a smooth surface with no sharp edges.
