Description

DET14C represents a new generation of earthing clamps for measuring the resistance in an earthing system. These current clamps induce a voltage into the loop and measure the current flowing in the earthing system. From this the resistance of the earth loop can be determined. This allows the measurement of the resistance in earthing or lightning protection systems without having to disconnect individual earth electrodes. The novel elliptical design of the jaws and the short body of the pliers allow round or flat earthing connections to be included. The use of flat jaws prevents dirt deposits on the measuring tongs and ensures measuring accuracy and reliability in practice. The advanced functions and simple operation as well as the CAT IV 600 V measurement category are further outstanding features. The earth clamps DET14C have a measured value memory for 256 measured values.
