Now open your front door as easily as your car, conveniently by radio remote control. Locking is of course just as easy. Only a completely closed door offers sufficient protection against burglary. The Association of House Insurers therefore recommends locking the house or apartment entrance doors even if you are absent for a short time during the day or in the evening.
Whether by radio remote control, by pressing a button on the device or manually - an elaborate and sophisticated electromechanics allows you various options. For emergencies, your door lock remains fully functional and can be operated manually without restriction (i.e. with the conventional key) (requires a locking cylinder with the so-called emergency and hazard function).
KeyMatic® can be used on all doors with a standard locking cylinder. The battery life is approximately one ½ year with an average of 8 locking operations per day. The imminent battery change is indicated visually and acoustically sufficiently early after each closing procedure. If the battery capacity decreases, several acoustic and visual warnings are given.
The communication between the remote control and the KeyMatic® is only AES-encrypted. Replay attacks by recording radio commands are excluded. The KeyMatic® is equipped with a Class II receiver. During operation, acoustic signals and status messages on the display help to identify the current battery status at all times.
And best of all, the installation is done in a few simple steps: no drilling, no mains cable and no special tools required. Simply attach the mounting plate to the protruding cylinder lock, mount the drive and screw it on - that's all.
