Description
With this USB micro cable from Delock you can convert the USB micro-B port of your mobile device into a USB-A socket. So you can e.g. connect HDDs, memory sticks etc. with standard USB connection to mobile phones, smartphones, tablet PCs etc. with OTG support. The OTG function allows a direct data transfer between your mobile device and the USB device, without connection to a computer.
Information
Samsung basically supports the OTG file manager function, should your manufacturer not be able to do this, there are many apps, e.g. for Nexus the "Nexus Media Importer App".
The compatibility of some smartphone manufacturers is limited, here the change in the Android settings menu item "Memory" from MTP to PTP or vice versa may help.
