For cutting metals
For cutting metals
WAS can you do with it?
Good for cutting and setting straight cuts and slots in all types of metal such as hardened steel, metal plate or aluminum. Easy cutting of pins or notching of rusted and/or damaged bolts/screws to remove them with a screwdriver.
How does it work?
Use with the mandrel 402: Loosen the upper screw on the mandrel with the wrench, insert the screw through the middle hole of the disk and screw it back onto the mandrel.
Use the metal cutting discs with high speed and low pressure. At low pressure the discs hold longer and cut faster than with Hohem pressure. Moreover, it reduces the risk of breakage.
Since the discs have a grinding effect, their diameter decreases over time. If the disc becomes too small to cut, it must be replaced.
For the use of a cutting disc, we recommend a two-handed golf handle to hold and guide the tool. Strive for a right angle. Angle of the disc while cutting can cause the disc to break.
For use in the following materials
This cutting disc can be used for various types of metal, such as aluminum, copper or cast iron. But also for short cuts on plastic or brick.
For materials such as galvanized metal (piping) or hardened steel, it is better to use the reinforced cutting wheel (426)
