Description

for extending, for instance, the polarity converter SPU 54-0x to 516-0x by 6, 12 or 18 subscribers
With cascading modules, you can distribute 4 SAT-ZF polarization levels including terrestrial signals (suchas FM radio) on several SAT receivers. SPU 556-09 = 6 Receivers, SPU 558-09 = 8 Receivers, SPU 5512-09 = 12 Receivers and SPU 5518-09 = 18 Receivers. For a cascading system with cascading modules SPU 556-09, SPU 558-09, SPU 5512-09 or SPU 5518-09, you need one of the polarity switch SPU 56-09, 510-09 and 516-09. Follow operating instructions with start up of the polarity reversing switch.
Connect the outputs of the polarity reversing switch to the inputs of the cascading module. Use F/F Quickfix adapter (not included in delivery), so that you can simply plug the devices to each other.
If you are using multiple cascading modules, connect the outputs of the cascading module to the inputs of another cascading module and so on. Note: You may need more polarity reversing switches for amplifying the transit signals while using several cascading modules depending on system design (level losses).
Connect the outputs of the last cascading module with the load resistor accompanying polarity reversing switch.
Connect the participant output at side with aerial sockets. Use highly shielded coaxial cable with F connectors for all HF connections.
