The Arctic Cooling contains a special anti-vibration fan mount so that no vibrations are transferred on to the case. Moreover the fan is temperature-controlled and are almost unnoticeable with 9 to 20 dBA.
For operating of the cooling fan in PWM-Mode, the connection is preset to a 4-pin female connector on the Mainboard. The cooling fan runs with constant rotational speed on a 3-pin connection
On most of the Mainboards, the PWM-Function is activated according to the standard. The
rotational speed control in PWM can be activated and configured in its Mainboard-BIOS
, where the „CPU Smart Fan Control“ activates and the „CPU Smart Fan Mode“
