Description

The connection box is used as a connection or extension of commercially available shielded or unshielded twisted pair installation cables (CAT 5e, CAT 6, CAT 7) for damaged cables, cable extensions and cable replacements. Thus, the cables segments of structured cabling do not need to be installed new. This reduces the changing time and costs to a minimum. 6 incoming and 6 outgoing 8-wire cable can be connected without substantial impairment of the transmission characteristics and limitation of the maximum link lengths fixed. The installation is done with the help of a LSA-punch down tool.
