Description
The 750 Watt Genesys Half Size is a powerful ultra-flat laboratory power supply. These devices do not have any air slots at the top and bottom and therefore actually work with 1U.
Output voltages up to 600V and output currents up to 100A (depending on the model) can be set directly on the device or remotely via the built-in RS232/RS485 interface. All important functions can also be programmed via analog inputs (with control voltages of 0-5V/0-10V or via external resistors). High-resolution 16-bit A/D and D/A converters enable very precise setting and programming; the settings can be switched between coarse and fine adjustment by means of controls on the device (encoder).
Digital displays show the current values as well as various status information (e.g. Over Voltage Protection, Under Voltage Limit, address settings), and a monitor output provides corresponding analog voltages (0-5V or 0-10V) for external monitoring. Of course, the device can be operated both as a constant voltage and constant current source - with automatic crossover between these operating modes. Several devices can be connected in series or in parallel. The GENESYS series is suitable for 19" rack mounting (the following accessories are required for half size models): ACC-GENH/RM, Rack Mount Kit).
