The SHTC 1 sets new standards, what size, energy consumption, quantities and also the price. For mobile devices is "less is better" and this is exactly what has been achieved with the SHTC 1. The sensor is one of the smallest in its class and measures just 2 mm x 2 mm x 0.8 mm. It is based on the proven CMOSens® technology, in which sensor and signal processing unit on a silicon chip. The production is aligned to high numbers of items, so that economies of scale effects are. It is also the low energy consumption and the supply voltage of 1.8 V optimally to the industry needs.
