Description

The Ixxat USB-to-CAN V2 professional with two CAN channels and galvanic isolation is an extremely versatile, uncomplicated and economical possibility of connecting a computer to two CAN bus networks and is a very reliable workhorse for CAN applications, for example in the field of test, development, maintenance or control applications.

Through the use of powerful, durable hardware and the connection via native USB 2.0 hi-speed (480 MBit/s) and 2x RJ45-sockets for CAN the interfaces achieve a very high data throughput with minimum latency and power consumption. Two RJ45 to Sub-D9 adapter CAN cables are included.
The galvanic separation reliably increases the protection of the device against damage to the electronics through voltage spikes.

Best-in-class timestamp resolution of only 1 microsecond allows for lossless transmission and reception of standard and advanced CAN messages on the CAN bus and allows filtering and buffering of CAN messages for very accurate CAN monitoring.
The tested and handy casing of the USB-to-CAN V2 professional is designed for the daily use and long life.

For the USB-to-CAN V2 professional an extensive and stable driver and software package is available, which can be downloaded free of charge at ixxat.com.
The Ixxat driver packages for Windows (VCI) and Linux, VxWorks and QNX (ECI) also enable the use in existing applications without software adaptation. The APIs for CANopen and SAE J1939 also support the USB-to-CAN V2 family of devices.

The VCI V4 (Virtual Communication Interface) is the driver interface for Ixxat interfaces on Windows and can be downloaded free of charge at ixxat.com/vci. Customer-specific applications for communication via CAN, CAN-FD, LIN and Industrial Ethernet can be developed on the basis of the VCI.

The software tool canAnalyser3 Mini is included in the VCI V4 download package and allows initial analysis steps and monitoring in CAN networks.
Two RJ45 to DSub 9 adapter cables are included in the delivery.
