The favorite of every filmmaker
The H4n Pro offers a lot of functions, which make it the perfect partner for the sound recording in the film. The built-in X/Y microphone delivers a spectacular stereo image. You can use your favorite microphones via two combo inputs. The device also offers a headphone/line output, with which you can easily transfer high-resolution stereo sound directly to your camera.

Undefeated in concert situations
The H4n Pro is perfectly suitable for recording live performances. It processes sound levels up to 140 dB SPL and therefore can cope with any sound source – from ear-numbing heavy metal to bass-intensive EDM. Take a stereo signal with line level* from the mixing desk and capture an impression of space via the X/Y stereo microphone – so your listeners are always in the middle of the first row!

Podcaster and journalists
The H4n Pro offers the essential combination of variable microphone usage, portability and outstanding audio quality, which are indispensable for telling impressive stories. By supporting plug-in power, you can use a lavalier microphone to record your against in interviews or for podcasts. Record WAV files with time stamps to synchronize them perfectly with the video material in post production. Alternatively, you can add the outstanding sound of the H4n Pro to the video recording via the 3.5 mm stereo output in real time.

Mobile recording studio
Thanks to overdub and punch-in functions as well as effects and emulations in studio quality, you can create complete songs from start to finish. The H4n Pro can even be operated as a USB audio interface with two inputs and outputs on a Windows or Mac computer. Start your favorite recording/editor software or use the included Cubase LE to start your creative work.

Powerful microphone pre-amplifiers
The H4n Pro offers the same extraordinarily powerful, low-noise microphone pre-amplifiers, which are also used in the renowned Zoom mobile recorder H5 and H6. Recordings and playback are possible in resolutions up to 24 bit/96 kHz. The improved signal-to-noise ratio (-120 dBu ON) reduces noise and artifacts in low-level audio recordings.

Built-in stereo microphone
The X/Y stereo recording records a wide range, but still reproduces center events with clarity and definition. The angle between the two ball microphones can be adjusted between 90° for strongly focused and 120° for lively wide-angle stereo recordings by adjusting the microphone capsules accordingly.
