This combined air quality sensor from Bosch (BME688) allows you to measure various ambient air parameters.
• Air Quality index (IAQ) is calculated using Bosch software (BSEC Library)
• Air temperature
• Air pressure
• Humidity
• VOC values in the air
The sensor is the successor of the popular BME680. In addition to its features, it offers machine learning based gas analysis. The sensor can be trained with the help of the BME AI Studio software in order to recognize different gas mixtures and to detect their presence (e.g. Coffee, ...)
With this sensor and Bosch BSEC software, you can easily determine when ventilation of the room is recommended to ensure that fresh air is used to enhance your well-being. Detect mold, hydrogen sulphide and other harmful substances in the air. Differentiate odors and automate ventilation systems.
I2C breakout board with Bosch sensor
• can be plugged directly onto all common Raspberry Pi boards
• Breakout pins compatible with Raspberry Pi Pico - can be plugged directly into the breadboard side by side
• is plugged away from the Raspberry Pi board - thus no distortion due to heat sources such as the CPU
• Two Grove-compatible I2C interface sockets also allow easy connection to other platforms, e.g. Arduino (3.3 V !) And some ESP32 boards.
