Description
When working on live parts, the safety of the user is paramount. Especially with screw connections on busbars in the distribution box, electricians are best equipped with the insulated torque wrench with 10° switching angle. The torque wrench with right/left rotation is thus ideal for powerful but controlled tightening. By pulling out and turning the end of the handle, the required torque value can be adjusted manually with regard to the numerical scale. Furthermore, the socket wrenches pushed onto the 1/4" square drive offer a secure hold thanks to the ball lock. When carefully tightened, the torque mechanics in the wrench will bend noticeably when the set torque value is reached. The insulated torque wrench is subjected to routine testing in accordance with the international standard EN/IEC 60900 and enables safe working in the range of live parts up to 1,000 V AC.
Application
Secure installation of terminals and sleeves, conductor connections, screwing of busbars. The protective insulation lets you work on components carrying voltages up to 1,000 V AC.
