Open Programmable IoT Platform - Create your own home or office automation devices. Control what was you want, how you want. The MKR IoT Carrier offers endless possibilities for IoT projects. No soldering required! With built-in sensors, circuitry, and indicators, you can focus on programming and prototyping your ideas rather than cabling and troubleshooting.
Data collection:
Map the wearer's environment using the built-in temperature, humidity, and pressure sensors, and capture motion data using the 6-axis IMU, light, gesture, and proximity sensors. Simply add additional external sensors to capture more data from more sources via the integrated Grove connectors (x3). Data storage: Capture and store all her data locally on an SD card or connect to the Arduino IoT Cloud * to get real-time data capture, storage, and visualization.
Data visualization:
Display the real-time sensor values locally on the integrated OLED color display and create visual or acoustic prompts using the embedded LEDs and buzzer.
Total control:
Control small electronic low voltage devices directly with the integrated relays and the five push buttons. The integrated display provides a convenient interface on the device for immediate control. Alternatively, you can connect to the Arduino IoT Cloud * to remotely manage and control your device using the Arduino Remote IoT app on a smartphone.
* Simply connect one of the cards of the MKR family to provide the desired connectivity type (WiFi, BT, GSM, Lora, NB-IoT), And integrate seamlessly with the Arduino IoT Cloud. All cards of the MKR family have a common pin assignment to establish an easy connection with the MKR IoT carrier. We recommend that you purchase an Arduino MKR WiFi 1010 card (not included) for easy Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connection to the cloud or other cards.
